So you want to be a Medical Esthetician?

The Anti-Aging industry in 2015 was valued at USD 140.3 billion and is expected to reach USD 216.52 billion by 2021.[1] Throughout Canada and the U.S., the Medical Esthetics industry is booming, and we want you to be a part of it. The OMNI School of Medical Esthetics (OSME) is not only an education centre, but a resource and hub for sharing knowledge. This industry is always changing, updating procedures, and active ingredients due to new scientific findings, however, we will be there for you when you have questions or concerns. That is the OMNI promise! Our school will train you on state-of-the-art equipment, give you the hands-on experience you need to succeed,  and continue to support you on your journey!


Are there pre-requisites?

NO! There are no pre-requisites, at OSME we start with the basics in anatomy and bacteriology/ sterilization and finish with the practical training, with tools and tech.


What am I going to learn in Medical Esthetics 101?

There are two parts to the Medical Esthetics 101 Course (ME101): Didactic and Practicum.


The didactic program which includes the eight modules listed below must be completed before moving on to the practicum portion. The didactic program will last three months and be twice a week from 5-8PM. The Practicum portion of the program will be two months long once a week for 3 hour sessions.  At the end of the course not only will you be able to call yourself a Medical Esthetician but you will also be certified to use the Venus Concept Machines at any facility in Canada and the U.S..

What if I am already certified as a Medical Esthetician?

OSME offers courses for continued education: Dermplaning, Microneedling etc. Please inquire within for C.E. or refresher courses. We provide a basic medical esthetics course in which you receive an applied certificate upon completion.

 What products will I be working with?

You will be working with Venus Concept, Dr. Pen, ZO, and Skinceuticals to name a few products. We will also be educating you on Allergan technologies in our theory course.

 Who will be my instructor (s)?

Kelsie Mund M.E. is the Head Medical Esthetician at OMNI Surgery + Anti-Aging Centre as well as the Principal of Education at the OMNI School of Medical Esthetics.
